Get Your Book Featured

We are delighted to spotlight authors and their books on our blog. With over 5,000 organic website visitors a month, a feature will gain eyes on your book and hopefully bring in sales!

If you’d like to request a book review, you can find our guidelines here. But please note that, considering the amount of requests we receive, it is much more likely that we will feature your book in a guest post.

While we do interview authors, and would be happy to spotlight you in such a way, we’ve found that they do not gain nearly as much attention as other types of content that have a wider appeal.

This is the type of content we publish, in order of what performs the best:

  1. Book lists
  2. Book reviews
  3. Personal reflections and discussions on specific topics
  4. Informational pieces on writing and publishing
  5. Author interviews
  6. Prayers

We know it takes time to create quality content, but there is a much greater payoff when you build information that is valuable to readers and fellow writers.

For instance, if you’ve written an epic fantasy book with a music-based magic system, a post titled “10 Epic Fantasy Books with Beautiful Magic Systems,” or “3 Mini Reviews of Books with Music-Based Magic” will likely receive 100s-1000s of views, compared to a post that only features you and your book.

In addition to my work with indie authors, I work for Perk Brands and Aloha Life Digital, digital marketing companies that specialize in SEO (search engine optimization) and content marketing. This is how I’ve learned to curate content that attracts maximum engagement.

If you write a post for us, we will feature your picture, bio, social links and website, and a purchase link to one of your books. We will also share the post with our subscribers and on our socials.

Here are some of our top performing posts which highlight indie authors:

  1. Book List: 18 Young Adult Urban Fantasy Books with a Male Protagonist
  2. Reviews: 3 Mini Reviews of Christian Sci-Fi and Urban Fantasy Books
  3. Discussion: 23 Author Moms Share Tips for How to Write While Parenting
  4. Informational: 8 Reasons Authors Should Sell Books at In-Person Events
  5. Interview: Interview with Debut Christian Sci-Fi Author Jeremiah Friedli
  6. Prayer: A Writer’s Prayer

Please look at a couple posts to get a sense of the kind of style we’re looking for. Feel free to reach out with any questions or alternate suggestions! For instance, perhaps you don’t want to write that article about music-based magic systems – but if you ask us to write it and feature your book on the list, we will consider it! We want to collaborate in a way that benefits you!
